12 Mar ABP at MIPIM – World’s Biggest Property Event
ABP played a leading role at the London Pavilion at the MIPIM International property festival in Cannes, which attracts tens of thousands of property professionals, property investors and business and political chiefs from across the world.
ABP’s exhibition stand was right next to the new model of London which was officially unveiled by London Deputy Mayor, Sir Edward Lister. In his speech he made reference to the fantastic developments taking place across London that are helping to transform the city and maintain the capital as a global city.
For the first time, ABP’s Royal Albert Dock development is featured on the model so that people can see the plans for the £1.7 billion business district. The model will now go on permanent display at the New London Architecture HQ in Store Street near Tottenham Court Road.
Many of the international visitors to the MIPIM London Pavilion were drawn to the highlighted new developments including ABP Royal Albert Dock and so the company’s exhibition stand was constantly busy with festival delegates seeking more information.
During the busy platform sessions, ABP’s Director of Global Communications, Neil Robinson, was guest speaker on a number of issues. He spoke in the ‘Royal Docks’ debate along with London Deputy Mayor for Housing, Land and Property, Richard Blakeway, on how the ABP development will be the economic generator not only for Royal Albert Dock but for the wider area.
