ABP has extensive experience in delivering business districts such as the one to be built in London’s Royal Docks. The company was founded in China in 2003 by our chairman, Xu Weiping, and has established a reputation for developing large scale enterprise districts, through significant projects, bringing together clusters of companies.

ABP’s model is to create business districts that are in keeping with their locality, with a layout and construction that appeals to companies looking to locate. Many of those companies have been attracted to ABP’s developments because they have the opportunity to acquire a whole building and so allowing them greater scope to operate more efficiently and to retain their own strong corporate branding. They also look to ABP for continued support within the developments through a range of shared services and through ABP promoted business communities which further assists prosperity. By bringing together clusters of company headquarters ABP has helped businesses to thrive and to generate economic growth.

The company has already delivered more than 135 million square feet of development across China since it began in Beijing in 2003.

The £1.7 billion Royal Albert Dock development is the first for ABP outside of China and the land was acquired through a development agreement with the GLA in May 2013. In September, 2013 ABP announced it would also locate its global headquarters in London, with ABP Beijing becoming the Asia-Pacific headquarters.
